• By using Yang, you confirm that you are 13 years of age or older.
• If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use this bot.
• This is in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and COPPA regulations.
• We reserve the right to block users who are found to be underage.

02 Using Yang

• Yang is provided "as is" for entertainment and utility purposes.
• We aim for 99% uptime but cannot guarantee it will always work.
• Do not abuse the bot (spamming commands, exploiting bugs).
• Using the bot to harass others may result in being blacklisted.
• You may not use Yang for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

03 Bot Permissions

• The bot requires certain permissions (e.g., manage roles, send messages) to work.
• You are responsible for managing what permissions you give the bot.
• The bot will never use permissions maliciously.
• Only grant permissions you trust the bot to have.
• You can revoke permissions at any time by kicking the bot from your server.

04 Data & Privacy

To function properly, Yang stores certain data. We are committed to being transparent about what we store and why.

• What we store: The bot stores server IDs, user IDs, and data necessary for features like moderation, logs, warnings, AFK, timers, games, and server settings to function.
• Why we store it: This data is necessary for features like warnings, moderation logs, AFK, timers, games, and server‑specific configurations to work.
• Data Retention:
  • Moderation logs: Automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Server‑specific data: Automatically deleted immediately when the bot leaves your server.
  • User‑based data: Stored until you request deletion.
• We do not sell or share your data: Your data is never sold, shared, or used for any purpose other than providing the bot's functionality.
• No sensitive data: We do not store passwords, payment information, or any other sensitive personal data.
• Data deletion: You can request deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Server‑specific data is automatically removed when the bot leaves a server.

05 Liability

• We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by using the bot.
• Use the bot at your own risk.
• We are not liable for any server damage, data loss, or other issues.
• The bot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

06 Termination

• We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the bot at any time.
• We may ban users who violate these terms.
• You can stop using the bot at any time by removing it from your server.
• Upon removal: All server‑specific data is deleted immediately. User‑based data can be deleted upon request.

07 Changes to Terms

• We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
• We will notify users of major changes via Discord announcements.
• Continued use of the bot after changes means you accept the new terms.
• It is your responsibility to check these terms periodically.
• The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect when changes were made.
